“If I end up in a lesbian monogamous relationship when I’m older, I want you to be the sperm donor” a girl says to her best male friend, while drunk at a party. “Okay, it’s a deal” he replies. Flash forward ten years and the two friends are making good on their promise. She is in said monogamous lesbian relationship and he’s just got a new girlfriend. Having your best friend be your sperm donor? What possibly could go wrong? “Eggs Aren’t That Easy To Make”, using this thought experiment as the premise, delves into the ethics of having a child in the modern world.
