A remote North West beef farm under huge financial pressure is thrown into chaos when the cows start speaking. A darkly comic look at a Britain on the edge of climate breakdown, 'Goodbye Cow' is about the lengths a person will go to to maintain an unsustainable status quo, even when destruction is staring them right in the face.

PRAISE FOR PREVIOUS WORK:
Praise for 'I Have Heard You Calling in the Night':
Alun Hood, WhatsOnStage reviewer
"It’s an endearing, quietly compulsive gem of bleak comedy, shot through with unexpected poignancy and flashes of inspired lunacy."
Praise for 'Anadiplosis':
Jane Darcy, The Reviews Hub, 5 stars
"Bishop’s clever, well-wrought play moves sinuously between comedy and glimpses of tragedy. Its final line will haunt you."

He has just completed The Royal Court's playwriting group.

About the Artist:
Previously, Sibylla, Saskia and I worked together on 'I Have Heard You Calling in the Night' at the Union Theatre in 2021, which was a tremendous success. I then worked with Sibylla again on 'Anadiplosis' as part of 'This Be The Verse: a trio of short plays' in 2022, and Saskia again on the short film version of 'I Have Heard You Calling in the Night'. In this piece, we're aiming to reach a broader audience, with work that is challenging, thought-provoking, and, above all entertaining.
