Would you die for your belief? It's 1612 Lancashire, the local women face trial for witchcraft. Watch as they fight for their lives in this gripping, immersive courtroom drama.

Join us for a work in progress production of the Lancashire Witches, premiering at The Glitch.

The Lancashire Witches is a new-writing play based on the true story of witch trials that targeted impoverished Northern women. This untold story follows the women as they fight to save their community from being murdered for 'witchcraft.' This story is central to Pendle's local history and the most well-recorded witch trials in Europe. The story is wildly entertaining with feuding families, hysterical Kings and ambitious witch hunters. However, this is more than a historical drama, it aims to expose the continuing failure of the government to support Northern people. This play shows audiences the conditions that allowed this to occur and that not much has changed...

Larkey Kindred Productions’ debut production, The Making of Frederick the Great, was the best-selling show of the Camden Fringe in 2023. The play tore up the history books and reassembled them, placing Frederick’s previously overlooked queer identity at the heart of his story. Larkey Kindred Productions have directed research and development workshops at Guildford School of Acting for The Making of Frederick the Great and The Lancashire Witches.
